Pumpkin Spice Season is Back Better Than Ever

Fall is on the horizon bringing with it sweater weather, autumn leaves and — you guessed it — pumpkin spice. Starbucks introduced the pumpkin spice latte nearly 20 years ago. Since then, the flavor has become synonymous with fall. Today, pumpkin spice permeates everything from food to candles. Since you can’t escape it, just embrace it! Here are some pumpkin spice items Veranda residents love.

Coffee

Once you could only get pumpkin spice-flavored coffee at your local Starbucks. These days, you can find bags of flavored coffees, creamers and syrups that give you the same great flavor without standing in line. Hit H-E-B, Target and Walmart to pick up flavored ground or K-cup coffee. Coffee Mate and International Delight creamers will spice up your life (and your coffee) in the morning. Not a milk drinker? Try Torani coffee syrup instead. If you are feeling ambitious, you can DIY.

Breakfast Foods

Double your pumpkin spice pleasure with the addition of these breakfast items. Cheerios pumpkin spice edition is back on the shelves. If you are looking for something a little healthier, Three Wishes cereal offers the fall flavor you love with more protein and less sugar. It’s also gluten-free. Is there anything better than pumpkin spice and maple syrup? We don’t think so. Krusteaz, Kodiak and Trader Joe’s all have versions. For a quick, warm delicious breakfast, there’s Quaker Instant Oatmeal in your favorite flavor.

Snacks

Need something to munch on? How about Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Grahams Goldfish? Your kids will love opening their school lunches to find pumpkin spice Twinkies or Oreos inside. When it’s time for hot chocolate, don’t forget to top your pumpkin spice cocoa with pumpkin spice marshmallows.

Candles

When it comes to that delicious scent of cloves, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon, why limit yourself to food? Scented candles will keep your house smelling like autumn until it’s peppermint season. Bath & BodyWorks has a candle that smells like autumn woods and a pumpkin patch. Why settle for a regular candle holder when you can get this “gourd-geous” scented candle in a pumpkin-shaped holder from Anthropologie. You can pick up pumpkin spice candles by Glade at any grocery store.

Bath & Body

Indulge in a pumpkin spice bubble bath to smell like your favorite latte all night long. You know your hair needs a little fall-scented fun. Slather on this pumpkin spice body butter for soft skin and a great smell.
